Province of New York - Marriage Licenses
Names of persons for whom Marriage Licenses were issued by the Secretary of the Province of New York, previous to 1784.
[Believe the two marriages below are the children of Benjamin HILDRETH and Mary LATHAM; the grandchildren of Benjamin HILDRETH and Eytje BRET. This is the link that I am working on to the Benjamin HILDRETH and Mary that were in Charleston, SC in 1800. Benjamin HILDRETH in Charleston, SC was a sailmaker and he and his wife Mary baptized their two children; 1.) Ann Elizabeth and Benjamin.] [I believe the Benjamin HILDRETH below is the grandfather of the Benjamin G. HILDRETH that was born ca. 1800 and was baptized in Charleston, SC.]
