Seeking information about this Bond family listed in the 1855 Illinois census in Scales Mound area of JoDaviess County. All members of this family are female: A Bond age between 20-30, B Bond between 50-60, DF or DT age between 10-20, L Bond age under 10. Living with them is H A Beckwith age between 10-20. I assume he is a nephew [is son of Sally Bond Beckwith, deceased]. Next door is the Abel Proctor family. All came from VT. Who are these Bonds? Who was the father/husband? Where is he? [Further assumption: the missing Mr Bond and Abel Proctor are step-brothers?? Mother PEDEE HILDRETH PROCTOR BOND??]
