I found a message board for HILDRED which is quite active; you might try there for more
information. If you have any idea where your ancestors were in the early 1600's I would love to know. The Hildreth Family Association is presently trying to track down the origins of both Richard Hildrith and Thomas Hyldreth who founded the two main lines in this nation of those who now spell the name Hildreth.
