I am trying to find information on my GGGG-Grandparents, John O. Spahr and his wife, Experience Hildreth. Both were Virginians by birth, but moved to Greene County, Ohio, where they were among the early pioneer families. They later moved on to Jay County, Indiana, where they lie buried in Stratton Cemetery in Jefferson Township.
According to their death records, John Spahr died September 23, 1892, at 73 years of age (possibly off by a couple of years). Experience (Hildreth) Spahr died September 22, 1862, at 44 years, 5 months, and 26 days. This would give her an approximate date of birth of March 27, 1818.
I have nothing solid beyond this point, other than Experience Hildreth's lineage is said to go back to the 1600s here in the States.
