I will look up Willnau and see if it's in the vicinity of where my side of the Hildebrandts hail, Sonneberg - Meiningen. My great-grandfather, Erich, was born in Sonneberg but moved to Berlin after WWI. He fought in WWI and was part of an oil exploration team in Poland during WWII. Although he never went to America, he had some family that did. Erich was a popular name in his family. I'll see what I can find out!
