The Desert Sun Palm Springs, CA ---January 7, 2006
Dorothy Jean Reading, 82, of Desert Hot Springs died Dec. 31, 2005, in Desert Hot Springs of natural causes.
She was born Feb. 4, 1923, to Carl and Hazel Welf Hildebrand in Michigan.
She married Clifford Reading on July 23, 1943, in Cleveland.
She was an accountant and secretary in the bookkeeping business for 20 years.
She is survived by three daughters, Nancy L. Roscoe of Desert Hot Springs, Barbara J. Opp of Laguna Beach and Suzanne Pearne of Fallbrook; a brother, Carl Hildebrand of Seal Beach; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Reading, in 1999.
Arrangements are under the direction of Rose Mortuary of Desert Hot Springs.
