George Hilbert, 1870, Schuylkill County, PA

I am reaching for the stars with this one.

Martha Kaine/Kane was the head of household in the 1860 census. With her were her boys, George and Charles. Also in the household was George Hilbert. Martha was 34, George 40.

In 1865, George Hilbert has signed a document that he is the guardian of Charles and that Charles was of age to enlist. In fact, he was not, only being 16.

Trying to find out if Martha's maiden name may have been Hilbert. She was married to James Kane, and had two boys by 1850, Lower Towamensing Twp, Schuylkill County.

Also, it was mentioned that George Hilbert had a brother named Charles. I did not find this but am interested to find out.

Thank you!
Dina
