While looking at some family info I found the name Barkside Hightower all that is said is that he is the Grand Father of Tip Hightower who was put on trail for the Frativille Mine explosion in Briceville, TN in 1901. I think there is a mention of VA or W.VA. Any info would be greatful. The time period I guess would be between 1800s and 1901. I know that is a long span.
