William Andrew Highsmith was my great grand father. His daughter Susie Mae Highsmith Married Ben Grimes and had only one son. Was your Highsmith from Bastrop Texas? I found a Susan Elizabeth Highsmith born 1836 in the Highsmith Book from Tenn. and married Jones. If you need further information, please reply. Ben Grimes III
