Another interesting note is that "James Hily" was a witness to the marriage of Robert Lavender & Milley Willis in Franklin Co., Virginia in 1795. Could this have been one of the "Laventer & Saul's" named on the 1895 chart as iron makers?

Wondering where I could find a copy of Robert Lavender's marriage license or bonds - I need the names of his parents.
