I'm just starting to look into the Highfill lineage. My great grandfather was John Washington Highfill born Sept. 9, 1873 in Montgomery, Kansas. He married Lena Reuss in Guthrie, Oklahoma Aug. 26, 1896. Their children are Victor (my dad), Alice & Phyllis. I'm told the Highfills go back to the Carolina's. Would John Washington be on your family tree? Kris
