John Allen m Pasty Higgins 30 Mar 1817 in Montgomery Co KY. They migrated to Putnam Co IN ca 1827. He fought in "The War of 1812" and was captured at the "Battle of Rasin River". His father name was also John and I believe he was from VA. Searching for any information on the above.
