Sanford A. Higgins, son of Henry R. and Esther A. Higgins, was born in 1849 in Perry, Wyoming Co.,NY, and in 1872 he was married to Miss EMMA A KARRIGAR, daughter of Henry and Alvira Karrigar, of Castile, Wyoming Co.,NY. He has three children. He came to Castile, Wyoming Co.,NY in 1869 from Perry, Wyoming Co.,NY, and is a farmer.
