My direct line came from Germany in 1738 to Savannah Georgia. From there they traveled to SC and then back to Georgia. There is a story that 6 brothers began the journey in Germany. 1 got off in PA, 2 got off in Va. 2 got off in SC and one died on the way. Since the ship manifest showed only Widow Derrick we assume the one that died was her husband. She had 4 children-John Melchoir, Jacob, Margareta and Elizabeth.

The answer to your question is that My direct line is not from PA, however, there could be a relationship. Do not know.
