I am searching for information regarding the family and ancestors of (father) George Higginbotham(Higgenbotham/Higgenbothen/Higgenbothen? I have seen it spelled various ways) married to Polly Moody, and (daughter) Arlena Higgenbotham (Higgenbothen?). I have George associated with Tennessee, but they may have been from Alabama (Polly 'Moody'?) and Arlena married Benjamin F. Gandy said to be from Alabama. Polly and George were probably born in the early eighteen hundreds or late seventeens. This is all I have to start with. Any information would be greatly appreciated. THANKS!
