I'll take anything I can get on Arabella's parents.
As for Arabella's marriage to A.J. Tadlock--I have a photocopy of the marriage record and some assorted mortgage and deed papers done by Albert Joshua Tadlock and wife Arabella.
5 children are known to have been born to Albert and Arabella.
Matilda-born Dec 1877-married W. F. Higginbotham (son of Joseph Edmon Higginbotham and Della MNU) in Chickasaw county, Ms in 1895 (I have marriage record). I believe Joseph Edmon Higginbotham (born abt 1858) was the son of William W. Higginbotham (born abt 1835) and Francis A. MNU. Not sure what the connection would be between Moses F. Higginbotham and William W. Higginbotham.
Martha Ann (Mattie)-married Andrew James Lanham in Chickasaw county, Ms in 1899 (marriage record in my file)
Julie E.-born 1881-no record of marriage. in 1910 she is living with Martha Ann and Andrew Lanham-27 years old-single
J.Franklin-a son-nicknamed Moses-born Apr 7, 1882/3--hard to get a straight answer on this man-you'll find him in Anderson county, Tennessee in 1920 and 1930. One census lists him as GEORGE F. Tadlock, other as Frank Tadlock. His family said he went by JF Tadlock-married Maude Angeline Bell. (I am 90% sure his actual name was Joshua Franklin Tadlock
Thomas Rufus Tadlock-my G-Grandfather-born Feb 22, 1885-married Idella Smith in Chickasaw county, Ms April 16, 1907. Bondsman was Andrew J. Lanham.
Tom and Idella had 10 children, 8 girls and 2 boys. Oldest child was William Jackson Tadlock (my grandfather)
According to Tom's stories, he was orphaned when he was about 12-13 years old. Tom said he never went to an orphanage, he lived on the streets. If true, this would put Albert and Arabella dying about 1897-1898.
Of the 5 children of Albert and Arabella:
Matilda, Martha, and Thomas married in Chickasaw county, Ms
Julie has no marriage record but is on 1910 census in Chickasaw county, Ms
J.F--Interesting character-is on the 1900 census of Pickens county, Alabama (Listed as Moses)-not on the 1910 census then shows up in Anderson county, TN in 1820
Incidentally, I tracked him by his children. Tom had a picture with Clyde, Hazel and Rose on it and it said "children of Moses Tadlock". I found those exact children in Tennessee so I drove out there and talked to his descendants.
