There is a Tyler Higbee son of James Higbeeb b1780, d1844 wife Mary Fenton Higbee b1789 d 1844.

This is a large clan, well documented in Hess-Higbee Genealogy, by Wm Emerson Babcock in 1909. Available online or at your local LDS library. Yes they have Dutch roots. But the cool thing is the documentation back to William Prince of Orange, b 1553. They be royal! LOL

I'm a descendant of this tree via marriage, 1861 of Antoinette HIGBEE to William H. PIKE in Benton Harbor, Berrien County, Michigan.
