Hi I am helping my wife and her family research their 'Higbee Family Tree'and have traced them back to a Robert Higbee and Elizabeth Green(e) who were married in 1836 in Limehouse, London. It seems that between 1836 and 1852 Robert and Elizabeth had about 12 children all born in London. One of these children was called Robert Higbee who was born in 1840. There also appears in some records the name Robert Thomas Higbee, this is the same person but at the moment do not know when the name Thomas was used from. Robert (Thomas) Higbee married Caroline Amelia Bruckin in 1865 in London. Robert and Caroline had at least six children, all in London. Around 1898 Robert, Caroline and their family arrived in the United States and made their way to Salt Lake City in Utah. It is this branch of the family that we are really interested in learning more about (also anyone with connections to Robert Higbee and Elizabeth Green(e)would be most welcome)and would love to hear from relatives of Robert and Caroline, who along with other family members are buried in Salt Lake City Cemetery. Look forward to hearing from any family relatives. Chris and Amanda Argent (nee Higbee). Notify Administrator about this message?
