Hack was my grandfather by marriage. He was married to my grandmother, Ethleen Wright Higbee. Unfortunately, I lost touch with Hack after my grandmother died. I never really got to know him that well because during their marriage, he lived in Marietta, Georgia and we lived in Nashville. Your aunt was a good friend of my grandmother and we used to call her Aunt Francis. To make a long story short, our family was quite disfunctional and most of my immediate family members are and were estranged from each other. I left home before my grandmother died and did not keep in contact after the funeral. I'm sorry to hear of Hack's passing. He was always good to me the few times he was allowed to come visit. Is your aunt still living? I can remember visiting her house when I was a kid, she lived near the railroad tracks in Inglewood. I knew they had gotten married and have often wondered how they were. The last I had known, they were living in the house I pretty much grew up in off of Brick Church Pike in Bellshire.
