In my search for Le Grand Hickok, I have found a birth record in Kenosha, WI from 1835 showing his father as David Hickok, and the mother as Pauline Marie. I have found a record of a David H. Hickok, b < 1797 who married a Polly M. Beers, in Ostego, NY (wherever that is), in 1844. Does anyone have information that could tie these two Hickoks together? I don't seem to be able to link David H. Hickok to any other Hickoks either.
