I am a descendant of Sylvester Hecox, son of Truman Hecox. As noted previously, he did move to Adams County, IL from Meigs County, OH. After Sylvester's death in Adams County, his widow, Rebecca Hoyt Hecox moved with her daughter Britannia Hecox Felt and son-in Chalres Milton Felt to Galesburg, IL. All three leved the rest of their lives in Galesburg and are buried in Linwood Cemetery in that city. (That's my family line.)
I am very interested in any information in the family line of Truman Hecox's wife, Sarah Hasford Hecox.
