Searching for further info or parents of Susan Lorena Montgomery WILCOXON, married to Jesse William Hickman . She was born Mar 1840 Highpoint, Moniteau Co., Missouri. Married Jesse in Moniteau Co. 18 Feb 1856. Had 13 children with Jesse.
Have copy of marriage license to Jesse. Susan appears in 1860, 1870, 1880 Census of Moniteau Co., MO.with variuos family members. I believe that her mother's first name is Elizabeth. She again appears in 1900,and 1910 Census Trego Co., Kansas. Again in 1920 Census of Fremont Co., Wyoming.
Have copy of death Cert. 1923 Lander, Wyoming for Susan. She is buried in Trego Co., Kansas.
Cannot find any trace of her prior to 1856 marriage to Jesse Hickman. Can anyone shed any light on this elusive woman???
