I am searching for the parents of Edward Hickman who lived in Wilkinson Co. GA. John, Harmon and Edward Hickman appear on the 1840 Census of Wilkinson Co. I am a descendant of Edward. Edward fought in the War of 1812. He died between the 1850 and the 1860 Census and his wife applied for and got his pension. Her application stated that her maiden name was Anna Langford, she was born in SC and they were married in 1818. Any help in locating this Edward's parents will be greatly appreciated.
