Lee: My great grandfather was J.D Hicklin. He lived in Cardwell MO for many years, ran a store and farmed. My grandmother, Lula Vera Mae Hicklin Sifford, was his daughter from his second marriage. He also had daughters Marie, Onie Lee, Hettie and Joe from this second marriage to Martha Gipson. Joe Hicklin(deceased) has three children,all living in Arkansas. A son of J.D.'s, from his first marriage, Elmer "Esh" Hicklin, was, I believe, mayor of Kennett at one time. Do any of these names sounds familiar?
