Does anyone know exactly who this family is ? I have a photo of the headstone saying John Hickey died 1876,age 49 years,and the stone erected by his wife Margaret.
The 49 looks rather different to the other letters/numbers....could it be he was much older and this 4 is wrong? If the 4 is actually,say, a 7,he would be more than old enough to be the John Hickey who married Margaret(Mary) Judge at Red Island in 1837.
Or can someone tell me this is a different John & Margaret Hickey for certain?Thanks.Ward. wardgreene@hotmail.com
