I have some Hibbs in the family tree, although most ended up in Jersey....
William Hibbs (dates unknown, Langton Maltravers, Dorset) married Isabella Gale
Their children:
Ann (b 1819)
Jemima (b 1820)
Thomas (b 1822)
Mary (b 1824)
Charles (b 1827)
Their son Thomas (b 1822 Dorset, d 1892 Jersey) married Mary Ann Bower (b 1822 Dorset, d 1889 Jersey).
They had 13 (!) children, my relation is their son James Hibbs (b 1859 Jerrsey, d 1922) married Rebecca Hepburn (b 1892, d 1908)
James' & Rebecca's son: James Hepburn Hibbs (b 1880, Jersey, d 1969) married Nora Westerman (b 1877, Southampton)
James and rebecca had 7 children (some still living in Jersey). James' & Nora's Daughter: Winifred Beatrice Hibbs (b 1903 Jersey, d 1985) married Charles Horace Riddington (b 1899 Brighton, d 1967, Southampton).
