This Tinkler is a brother of a John who leads to me.
I am curious to trace any descendants from this line - not least because Matilda T - granddaughter of this pair married a Frederick James Hibbitt in Kensington in 1867 and they had had three children Frederick, Maud and Frank by 1881 census - he was a draper.
There may have been other "suspiciously" close marriages in this line too -- Thomas T's daughter Mary Ann married her second husband in London - one Edward Hibbitt in 1847.
