Hi Craig. I'm new to this forum and realise your query was some time ago - however.... I have a Randle Hibbert in my family tree. It's Randle, not Randal and the dates don't fit (mine was born around 1831)but as it's an unusual Christian name, I thought it might be possible that there's a family connection. Randle was born in New Mills and was the son of Thomas and Martha Hibbert, who were innkeepers/sellers of beer on High Street. So far, I haven't been able to trace Thomas's parents.
