Frodsham in Oahu and married 1941

My dad, Leroy Edward Frodsham was in Hawaii working at the Pacific Naval Air Base in 1941 for 4 years. He said he was married then and his wife and daughter died in "Pearl Harbor." It was always our impression that they died during the attack, but I can find no proof of this on casuality lists.

The only "proof" I have is that he was a widower when he married my mother in FEB 1947 in MT.

He joined the active army in 1944 and his address was 283 N. Vinyard, Honolulu, Oahu, TH. His next address was 243 S. Vinyard, Oahu, TH in 1946.

Somewhere between 1940 and 1947 he must have lost his family. Can anyone give me any information about this?

I have written to the courthouses and they were unable to help me without a specific date or first name.

The wife and/or daughter may have been named Mary or Catherine and as a child I believed they were in a bus wreck.

Thanking you in advance,

Dan
