Hello, I am trying to find any and all info on the my Chase relatives in Muskogee, OK. My maternal GGF was Levy Charles Chase, m to Myrtle Valley Long. He was b abt 1885. My grandmother was Sara(h?) Frances Chase (b 1912, d 1977), m to Clarence Raymond Vandiver (b1908 d 1962). I can remember meeting "Grandfather Chase" in Muskogee as a child of maybe 37 years ago. He was a rather small man (abt 5'7") with Dark eyes and once Dark hair. Later he moved to Los Gatos,CA and lived with his youngest son Marion and his wife Dorthy and their adopted daughter Robin. Marions only natural child, Connie, died as a young teenage in a tragic auto accident (abt 1958???).
Levy and Myrtle had 4 children.
Frank, the oldest, married a Dorthy and lives in Northern California, has a peach orchid and was rather a good violin player. He has 4 children, a son, twins girls, Demla and Darla and much later, Frank, Jr. came along. He must be in his late 30's by now.
Then there was my grandmother, Sara, married to Clarence Raymond Vandiver. My mother is the oldest, Nancy Brackett V b1936, married Eric Thomas Dane Nielsen b 1927. Nancy, has 4 children and 9 gchildren & 3 ggchild.
Nancy's younger sister, Susanna Kathryn V Nicassio, b 1941, married Anthony Robert Nicassio in 1962. She has one son, Alexander Raymond Nicassio, b 1963.
Then Levy had Marion who lived in Los Gatos, CA with Dorthy and Robin.
Then there is Martha Eads, she would be your mother and Jim Eads would be your dad. I believe the last my mother knew was you had divorced and still lived in Oahu, Hawaii with your children.
If you could contact me I would love to find out some family history. Any info on your family you could share would be so very appreciated. I have really no where to start. The families are so spread out. I am in Lafayette, Louisiana, grew up in Baton Rouge. It's a far piece to OK, CA WY.
I hope to hear from you. And how is your mother? My father contacted your father about a year ago and he said your mother was not doing so well. I hope you are out there...
