The American Pomeroy Historic Genealogical Association (APHGA)is updating the 1912, 1922 reference work, THE HISTORY AND GENEALOGY OF THE POMEROY FAMILY (descendants of Eltweed and Margery Pomeroy who emigrated from England to America about 1630).

We have all the US census data up through the 1930 US census, and have correlated it with information from Ancestry.com, and many other sources. Although our focus is on descendants of Eltweed and Margery, we are also researching all Pomeroys, Pomroys, Pomerys etc. in America.
Non-Eltweed descendants' material is sent to our sister organization in England, which is researching none-US, world-wide Pomeroy data, and archiving it in England.
All US material is kept confidential, and is stored in secure archives at the Syracuse, NY APHGA headquarters.
