Aloha all,
Maximo D. LONGAYAN: looking for friends & Family
We are looking for referrals and any information regarding Kula Sanatorium worker/nurses aide Mr. Maximo Dombarda LONGAYAN.
Here’s what little we know: He was born about 1911, probably somewhere in Pangasinan, Philippines. He died on 5 Mar 1993, probably at home in Kaunakakai, Molokai (island), Hawaii; his ashes were scattered at a latter date.
We have yet to find him listed in any of the 1930, 1920, or 1910 US/Territory of Hawaii censuses.
We are not sure if he married, but we do know that he had descendants. A Dennis Mateo, Sr and daughter-in-law Clarissa with grandchildren Dennis Mateo Jr, Heidi, and Noralyn Mateo: are listed in the obituary of the Honolulu Advertiser(11 Mar 1993)page D5.
