Queen Lili`uokalani was born Lydia Lilu`u Loloku Walania Wewehi Kamaka`eha to Kapa`akea and Keohokalole. She was immediately taken to be raised by Konia, granddaughter of Kamehameha I, and High Chief Paki,
She maried John Owen Dominis son of an American sea captain who had built a home in Honolulu.
Her mother Keohokalole is the great-granddaughter of Ululani who was married to my Great-great-great grandfather Imakaaeae son of Imakakoloa great warring chief of Kona. Ululani was the granddaughter of Liloa, the first king of Hawaii, from Waipio, Hawaii (the Big Island).
Lili`uokalani's line is also connected to my great-great-great grandfather King Kaumualii of Kaua`i, whose father was King Kaeokulani of Maui and Hawai`i. Kaeo's wife was Kamakahelei High chiefess (Moi) of Kauai whose family origin is from the High Chiefs of Oahu.
Queen Lili`uokalni's hanai son was John `Aimoku son of Mary Purdy. This son was from her husband Dominis. She also had hanai Lydia and Kaipo.
Lili`uokalani is my great grandaunt.
I hope this will be of some help to you.
Aloha nou!
