Benjamin Heywood (B1723) was a banker in Liverpool with his brother Arthur (B2719). After some time in business, Benjamin moved to Manchester and opened a bank call Heywood and Sons. It was eventually sold to the Royal Bank of Scotland.
One of Benjamins sons was Nathaniel Heywood (BJuly8,1759) who in turn had a son Benjamin (BDec 12, 1793) I believe it is this Benjamin that contributed significantly to people in the Manchester area, building housing and other works.
I have more information on this if you wish it. You may email me directly at robertheywood@shaw.ca.

Robert Nathaniel Heywood
