I am related to Frances Heydon 1628 - 1697. According to family tradition three brothers, Francis, William and Samuel Haydon came from Wales in 1678 to the eastern shores of Virginia. They eventually moved to St. Mary's County, Maryland.

The brother William Haydon settled in St. Mary's County, Maryland. He died in 1704. No heirs.

Francis Haydon was a planter and came to the Colony of Maryland in 1678 with his wife, Thomazon. Their home "Small Hope" is recorded in St. Mary's County land office records in Annapolis, Maryland. They were the parents of Mary, Penelope and William Haydon.

If you have any more information on these people such as the boat they traveled on? or have a family connection to these folks?

Also any information on Samuel DE HAYDEN was born about 1160 in Northumberland, England. He died about 1235 in Norfolk, England. or Thomas DE HAYDEN (Samuel) was born about 1185 in Heydon, Norfolk, England. He died 1220 in Heydon, Norfolk, England.

Another Heydon from England I'm looking for is Wiilliam HEYDON (John HEYDON, Richard HEYDON, Simeon HEYDON, William HEYDON, William, Thomas, Samuel) was born 1450 in New Street, Waterford, Hertfordshire, England. He died 10 Aug 1515 in Westminster Abbey, England. I found a brass rubbing in the Abbey but at the time did not think he was related as the spelling was with an e vice a - now I know differently.
