It may help to clarify the name "Hewitt Cemetery," which could be a bit misleading. It is not a family burial plot, but rather the church cemetery associated with the Hewitt Presbyterian Church in Rices Landing. The Hewitt name is because Adam Hewitt (father of the Isaac Hewitt in my original posting) was the one who donated the land. He and his wife are the first two at the top of the above list. Five of his sons (Jacob, Peter, Isaac, John and George) are on the list, and one daughter (Margaret). Another son, Solomon, does not appear in the listing although his wife does; I suspect he is also buried there.
