The Lost Colony of Roanoke Island

Hello Hewett Families !
My name is Anne Poole, and I am a researcher with The Lost Colony Center for Science and Research in North Carolina.
We are very interested in the Hewett surname as it is the name of a Lost Colonist, Thomas Hewet. You may have recently heard or read about our world-wide announcement of our dna symposium in September, which, for the first time ever, will attempt to identify living descendents of The Lost Colony. If you have the family history of your early ancestors being from the Northeastern counties of NC and maybe the legend of the ancestors being Indian, we would very much like to hear from you. You may contact me at croatan@peoplepc.com And for more dna info and other info, please visit our website at lost-colony.com and our blog site, the-lost-colony.blogspot.com

Thanks....
Anne
