Is there anynoe out there other than myself who is researching the Hewett family of Leamington Warwickshire. I have been years researching this family and have traced them back to the early 1600's. I have been researching two brothers a Thomas Hewett born 1786 in Colchester Essex who married a Mary Ann possibly Abrey from Chelmsford Essex and John Hewett born 1795 in Norwich Norfolk who married a Martha Fitzhugh born abt 1801 from Northampton. They also had a sister Mary born 1791 in Linlithgow west Lothian Scotland. There father a Thomas Hewett born 1753 in East Lavant Sussex who married an Eleanor Walker in 1783 Manchester, born 1755 in Bo'Ness West Lothian Scotland. Thomas Snr was in the Queens Bays the 2nd Dragoon Guards and became a Recruiting Sergeant the reason for his children all born in different places.
I am still looking for anyone else who is connected to John's son Henry Marshall Hewett born abt 1828 in Leamington who married a Jemima Heathcote Tatham born 1836 in Warwick. They had eleven children and moved down to London in 1871/2 also Thomas's son Thomas Hewett born 1830 in Leamington who married a Margaret Griffiths born 1830 in Brecon Wales. They had thirteen children and also moved down to London about the same time.
I have loads of information on the family and would be happy to share this with anyone else who is connected to them. If anyone has any information please let me know.
