Not sure which branch of Heveners you are talking about, I am descended from the William Hevener who was born in Germany and migrated here. The name changed from Hevener to Havener in 1744 with Nicholas Havener then to Heavner in 1800 with Jacob Heavner. If you go to www.familysearch.org site and type in Opha Heavner, it will take you all the way back to William Hevener.There are a set of books but I will have to check on the availability of them.
