I'm looking for the parents of Mary M. Hettinger, born about 1844 in Illinois, married William Dawley who was 30 years her senior. They lived in Niles Township, Iowa and had three children, Laural, Franklin and Ida. William Dawley died between 1870 and 1880 and she moved in with her brother where she shows up in the 1880 census with Franklin and Ida, her children. I don't know what happened to Laural. Her brother is Perry Franklin Hettinger of Charles, Iowa. He was born abt 1846 and married Esther (last name unknown) and have five children listed in the 1880 census. Thanks.
