Fanny,
The Louisville Hettingers are being searched and the two area's which is Anchorage and St Matthews/Cherokee are of importance as it would seem it is all the same family but we are not there yet. I have understood for years two cousins came over together but have not found the concret data yet. If you have years to attach to your people it would help when we get the information together. There are two Louis Hettingers buried in St Michael Ceme. in St Matthews. I am of the opinion the one lone Louis belongs to my GGrandfather John Joseph Hettinger as an uncle,etc. Have not been very active in my "searching" for a while but intend to get back in it soon. If you have some years let me know and I will keep the information as I search. Also anything you might like to add. There are many Hettingers in Louisville/Jefferson Co. as my own GGrandfather is reported to have had 14 children but I have only been able to find 11 of them.
