I have run accross a bunch of Hesleps in Carrol County Miss: Thomas Heselp; Andrew, Duke A P, Thomas, Thomas B., William N., and Wm N. Heslep; and Argyle P., D. W., James O., and Thomas B. Heslip; and Arquille Heslop. (Probably all one family, just mispellings of the family name.) The entries begin in 1836 around the time this postion of Mississippi opened up for settlement.

Look in book called Carroll County, Mississippi Pioneers by Betty Couch Wiltshire, or I will be happy to do look ups regarding specific persons named above and let you know what I have. I can be reached directly at marthap@netvu.net
