I'm searching for anyone who has knowledge of Mary Ann HESLEP b. abt. 1823, I believe in GA. Our ADAIR Family line has Mary Ann as the wife of John Smith ADAIR m. on 13 Nov. 1841 in Paulding Co. GA. I understand that another ADAIR line also has Mary Ann as wife to their John N. ADAIR and I would like to be able to determine which research is correct. The census records did not list individual names until 1850 as I understand it, and we do have 'a Mary Ann' as wife of our John Smith ADAIR in later census records. I am trying to determine whether HESLEP was her correct maiden name or not. I would apprecaite anyone in her family contacting me by E-Mail.
