Robert, we have been under the assumption that the David D. (son of Thomas and Mary Nettles Heslep) was David Doyle. Where did the David Dickey? come from? Could we have been wrong all this time? My information: Thomas and Mary Nettles Heslep children: Robert 1779, Celia 1781, Jane 1783, Andrew 1784, William Nettles 1787, Wallace 1788, Thomas Jr. 1794, David D. 1795 and Maria 1797. (Mary, Nancy, Beulah and Catherine are also listed but questionable). This came from Mrs. L.H. Bibus in Carrollton, MS. She is descendant of Mollie Julia Heslep and James Thomas Marshall. She listed Mary Heslep married to Mercer Wadlington in KY.
