Looking for info on Jacob Kemper.
Daughter Magdalena born in Pennsylvania. She married Bernard Kemper, approx 1855, resided in Butler PA.
Based on US Census records showing Magdalena's birthdates and parents... Jacob must have emigrated from Alsace to North America (Pennsylvania?) approx 1820. Wife (name unknown) also from Alsace-France.
Again in Census records, Jacob shown as living with Magdalena/Bernard, in later yrs. His occupation was "Tailor".
any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
