I am searching for the HERROD husband of MAGGIE SMITH. MAGGIE SMITH (5/11/1881, MS -- 1967, Mobile, AL). She was the daughter of JOHN WILLIAM WARD (born 1844, AL --?) and LUCY JANE WARD (born 1857, AL -- ?).
MAGGIE was killed in an automobile accident in 1967.
Her siblings include:
#1 - LILLY (1877, ? -- ?) married EDWARD SAM ODOM 1901, MS - LDS records - family information gave last name of ODOM.
#2- MARY ANNIE RACHEL (1887, MS -- ?) married JESSE CLINTON SMITH. LDS site on MARY and family information on SMITH.
#3- JESSE MAY (1896, MS -- ?) married a man named GAY. Upon her death, her oldest son was raised by her sister, MAGGIE and her youngest son, BERNARD, went with his father.
#4- ANNIE (1909, MS -- 1975, MS) married a man named ALDY. Family information.
#5 - PEARL REBECCA ESTELLE (1885, MS -- 1929, MO?) married JOHN LEE GAUNT (1863, VA -- 1927, MS). These are my husband's grandparents.
