I don't really know that much about this side of my family. I only know that Joshua Herrington was born about 1810 and probably in Webster County, Georgia. He had a son also named Joshua (middle name Dennie) Herrington who was born in 1857 in Pulaski County, Georgia. I found a marraige record from Houston, Georgia stating that he married a Sarah Adams (who was born about 1819 in North Carolina). Joshua and Sarah had several children besides my Ancestor Joshua Jr, Catherine b. 1839, Nancy b. 1841, Elizabeth b. 1842, Obediah b. 1845, Rivdons b. 1847, Dolly b. 1848, Martha b. 1851, George b. 1855, and Susan b. 1858. All these children seem to have been born in either Webster, Randolph, or Pulaski Counties in GA. My Joshua (Jr) Herrington moved to Benton County, Arkansas and married a Rosa F. Leighton. I don't know who Joshua Sr's parents were or where they were from. Any information you have on this family would be helpful.
