Mary E. Herring b. 1852 Wayne Co.NC daughter of Kinchen and Elizabeth Beard Herring may have been married to a William B. Byrd(Harnett Co. NC 1880 census). Her sister Lucinda was the first wife of James Hicks. His second wife was a Mary Byrd. I am trying to determine if Mary Bryd was Mary Herring. I would appreciate any information to help.
