just a couple of questions...
ok, i've been trying to sort out these Herrings and allied families in Hendricks Co IN that came from Harrison Co KY from somewhere...yeah, i'm about to believe they all "appeared"...
Here's what i have...PLEASE feel free to fill in my blanks and tell me who's missing etc...
would also like to know who parents are of the theae folks that came to IN and how they all relate.

QUESTION TIME! #1 How are John and Wm Herring related?
1) John HERRING married 24 FEB 1848 Isabella BOLEN dau of William and Sarah Snodgrass Bolen. John and Isabella had at leaste one child; Benjamin b 1849 Hendricks Co IN married 1871 Mollie F Bray.
2) WILLIAM J. HERRING, deceased, was a native of Harrison County, Ky., born Jan. 20, 1824, a son of George and Elizabeth Herring. When he was a boy he accompanied his parents to Hendricks County, and here he grew to manhood. He was married Feb. 24, 1848, to Isabel WORRELL, daughter of Richard and Jane Worrell, natives of Kentucky and early settlers of Hendricks County, where her mother died. Her father is now living in Kansas. To Mr. and Mrs. Herring were born four children---Richard, Mary A., Martha M. (deceased) and Elizabeth J. Mr. Herring was an honorable, upright Christian man, a member of the Missionary Baptist church. He was a liberal, public-spirited citizen and was loved and esteemed by all that knew him. He died April 3, 1876. His widow resides on the old homestead on section34, Brown Township, and is one of the most estimable and respected of Brown's citizens. HISTORY OF HENDRICKS CO. HOW are Joseph, George and William Herring listed in the 1840 census related? AND HOW are they related to Hannah and Margaret and Elizabeth who married the Snodgrass' and Courtney?
