Was Mary Herring a Lowery? Where did couple Marry? My gggrandfather Berry Benson HONEA age 16 living with family 1850 Anderson Co SC. Berry Benson Honea's father Young Sion Honea married Nancy Lowery in Hall Co GA 23 Dec 1824. Always puzzling to me, Why was Berry living with this family when his father, stepmother, bros, sisters & half bros were living in Cherokee Co GA ?
If Mary Herring was a Lowery as LDS records show, that would explain that Mary may have been a sister to Nancy. Each time B.B. Honea moved some of Levi's Sons would follow to same places in Ga, AL, and AR.
Berry B. Honea last known address Grant Co AR 1880 where he married 3rd time. Elisha ,son of Levi, Herring age 49 living in same county. I would like documented proof that Mary and Nancy were sisters and who their parents were.
